ORIGINAL, ANTIQUE, HORSTMANN 1835 'INDIAN PRINCESS' U.S. OFFICER'S SWORD - Complete with Decorative BRASS SCABBARD - The lovely square Fluted Bone Hilt is proudly Crowned with an 'Indian Princess' Pommel (representing Pocahontas) - as well as having the U.S. Eagle on both Languets - and Mounted with an Ornate Knuckle-Guard - The Decorative Brass Scabbard bears the "HORSTMANN" Mark as well as the production number "424" (as Shown in the Photos Below) - Measuring 37-1/8 inches long overall in the Scabbard, Sword measures 35-9/16 inches long, with 30-3/16 inch long Engraved Fullered Blade enhanced with Gold Motifs - Item #wea-114 - ($1,850.)

ORIGINAL, ANTIQUE, HORSTMANN - 'INDIAN PRINCESS' - 1835-1840 - U.S. OFFICER'S SWORD - Complete with Decorative BRASS SCABBARD - Model 1835 U.S. Officer's Sword by W.H. Horstmann, dating to 1840.  Mounted with a beautifully etched blade that measures 30 3/4 inches in length. The blade is engraved on one side "W.H.H." and "Philadelphia" on the other side. The Beautiful, square Fluted, Bone Hilt is proudly Crowned with an 'Indian Princess' Pommel (representing Pocahontas) - as well as having the U.S. Eagle on both Languets - and Mounted with an Ornate Knuckle-Guard - The Decorative Brass Scabbard bears the "HORSTMANN" Mark as well as the production number "425"  being Classically Engraved, having an old repair and a few dents  - Overall measuring 38 inches in length. - Item #wea-220 - ($1,750.)
