AUTHENTIC, ANTIQUE, ~ MODEL 1840 ~ HEAVY CAVALRY (DRAGOON) SWORD / SABER with METAL SCABBARD ~ Often referred to as 'The Old Wrist-Breaker' ~ Heavy-Duty, Unmarked, Sabers such as this type, were imported from European Sword Makers, smuggled through the Union Blockades, and commonly used by Confederate Cavalry during the Civil War as the South had very few Foundries capable of producing Swords - Measuring 42-1/2 inches long in the Scabbard (Straight-Line Measurements), Saber: 41-1/4 inches long, with 36 inch Blade ~ mx-627 ~ ITEM #wea-203 ~ ($750.) ~ Additional Photos Below ~
