ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC, ANTIQUE, INDO PERSIAN, SILVER-INLAID, TULWAR SHORT SWORD - (Secondary 'Back-up' Sword) - Solid Steel Hilt nicely Silver-Inlaid, Mounted with a 2-1/2 inch Diameter Disc Pommel also Silver-Inlaid on top and bottom sides, overlaid with a 13-Point 'Flower' Star, topped with a 1 inch high, drilled 'Tang-Button'. Base of Hilt (below the Quillons) is Mounted with Two, 1-7/8 inch long Languets (one on each side of the Blade), that served a dual purpose; (1) They helped to secure the Sword in the Scabbard. (2) A Good Swordsmen could often 'catch' the Opponent's Blade in one of the Languets and with a quick twist of his wrist, either flip the Sword out of the enemy's hand, or break their Blade - Measuring 15-1/2" Long overall, with 3/8 inch thick x 10-5/8" long, Fullered Blade - Additional Photos Below - Item #wea-06 - ($650.)

ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC, ANTIQUE, FRENCH 'BRIQUETTE' - INFANTRY - SHORT SWORD with LEATHER & BRASS SCABBARD - Dating to the 1820's - with Solid-Brass Handle - Sword is Marked with Three (3) different Arsenal/Inspection/Issue Stampings (as Shown in the Photos below) - Brass and Black Leather Scabbard is marked "5077" (also Shown Below) - Sword in Scabbard Measures 29-3/4 inches long overall, Sword is 28-1/4 inches long (straight-line measurements), with a 23 inch long, slightly-curved Blade - Many were exported to the U.S. (both sides), during the Civil War - Item #wea-156- ($450.)

ORIGINAL, ANTIQUE, MODEL 1831 FRENCH - INFANTRY - SHORT SWORD with LEATHER and BRASS SCABBARD - Marked: "548" on Brass Guard, and "JEAN" on both sides of Blade near Hilt, along with a circular Inspector's Mark (as Shown in Photos below) - This French Short Sword was designed after the famous Roman Gladius Sword - It is commonly known that the Confederate States of America imported a large number of these Swords from France during the Civil War - Measuring 25 inches long in the Scabbard - Sword is 24-1/4 inches long, with a 18-3/8 inch Double-Edge Tapered Blade - Item #wea-148 - ($1,000.)
